Jenisse Minott (she/her) is a Jamaican-Canadian freelance journalist with over four years of experience in the media sector. Currently completing her Master’s in Communication and Culture at York University & Toronto Metropolitan University, Jenisse continues to perfect her research and writing skills through groundbreaking original research funded by the Government of Canada. Using her unique perspectives and passions as a guide, Jenisse writes content within various industries and across many platforms.
As a freelance writer, Jenisse writes articles on fashion, beauty, gender, race, and style for publications like FASHION Magazine. In addition, Jenisse does freelance social media content for local businesses like Her Village and British Swim School, assisting both brands with written content for their audiences. Prior work at WedLuxe Magazine allowed Jenisse to delve into bridal couture, decadent tasting menus, and luxury travel. Throughout all of her endeavours, Jenisse prioritizes original content over everything.
